Our Partner
Our mechanical parts are produced at the Association Sainte-Camille in the canton of Fribourg, Switzerland. Since 1961, Sainte-Camille has supported adults living with physical disabilities, providing housing and meaningful work across a range of professional workshops.
Each of its six workshops is led by industry professionals and equipped with modern, high-performance machinery. The mechanical workshop, supervised by Hervé Chenaux and Samuel Joye, employs ten people with disabilities.

About Me
Bolfix began as a way to learn the craft of producing precision mechanical parts — and to support my long-term documentary on Bolex. What started as a personal exploration of how precise components are made has grown into a project that funds and sustains the film, which traces the history and craft of Bolex cameras.
All modifications are non-destructive and use existing mounting points, preserving the original design and integrity of the camera.
