Lift the clamp and remove the light-tight cover plate from the camera.
Slip the front lug of the cheese plate under the front retaining bar of the support. The top plate will then clip into place in the housing on the camera.
Lower the clamp.
Open the lid cover.
The safety plate secure the top plate firmly from inside the camera to prevent inadvertently opening attaches on top of the camera.
Use the provided PB Swiss Tools Hex key (PB 212), standard length, with ball point tip, to attach the secure plate.
Use the Hex key's ball tip to tighten the M6 low-profile screw until it stops turning, ensuring the secure plate remains aligned with the camera body.
The illustration in this instruction always show the SBM model, the operating instructions however, apply to EL, EBM, SBM, Rex 5 and M5.
