Bolex cheese plate side

The plate replaces the side-mounted, parallax-correcting viewfinder. 

Remove the 7 screws that are used for the side viewfinder. Safely retain the parts in the event that you need to reassemble the viewfinder.

To prevent leaks, seal the surrounded ( 1-2-3 ) thread on the picture. Use either mastic or a thin layer of black gaffer tape.

Install the plate securely in its designated location.

1. Use the four provided screws to firmly secure the side plate. (3x M3 10 - 1x M3 12)
2. Utilize the longer screw (M3 12) for the bottom right position.

Flip the Bolex Lid cover.

Unscrew the 6 indicated screws.

The spring came out of its place when we installed the side plate.

Reposition the spring.

Put the screws back in place. Tighten screws evenly, avoiding the use of excessive force.
